When I first received this product, I wasn't holding out hope. After warming the product per instructions and stirring, I was more then pleasantly surprised. The texture and appearance was somewhat like a thin frosting. The taste is sweet, and rich with coconut. Mouth feel wise, it kind of makes your mouth stick together like a spoonful of peanut butter, but the sensation goes away quicker as the coconut butter dissolves in your mouth. Raw Coconut Butter Recipes:

Crazy Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients:

4 heaping tbsp. of Artisana Organic Raw Coconut Butter
2 Frozen Bananas
3 Dates
Juice of a Navel Orange
1 tbsp. of Raw Honey
1 tsp. Organic Vanilla extract
Ice

Combine ingredients (except ice) in a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice to make the smoothie as thick as you'd like.

Coconut Fruit Dip

Ingredients:

8 oz. of Artisana Organic Raw Coconut Butter
2 Fresh ripe organic Peaches or Nectarines (feel free to experiment with other fruits)
1 large organic Lime
2 Tablespoons - organic Agave

Peel lime and remove seeds. Remove pits from fresh peaches. Place fruit and Artisana Coconut Butter into a powerful blender and blend until smooth. Add Agave for sweetening to taste. This makes a super creamy and delicious fruit dip. Slice apples or prepare other fruit for dipping and enjoy. You can add even more Agave for a Creamy Peachy Frosting that is super healthy.
