    * Quick and easy to make with great flavor and texture. Toss in a couple of berries and a dab of whipped cream for a quick dessert.

    * Maltodextrin has a glycemic index of 130. Table Sugar is only 65. You would want to check carefully where maltodextrin is listed in the ingredients for these mousse products. And only get one where it is listed low. Or better , you may not want to ever start getting hooked on these. I always wake up with glucose below 120, till I had some of this chocolate mousse at night. I've have the Chocolate Cheesecake and it was not as much a problem. The Chocolate Cheesecake has maltodextrin lower in its ingredient list. I highly recommend you do some very deep research on maltodextrin. It is an ingredient claimed to be sugar free and marketed to us diabetics. But it's WORSE than sugar IMHO.

    * Absolutely NOT suitable for diabetics. Most or all of the mixes contain maltodextrin which is generally derived from corn or sometimes from grain/wheat. It's a filler substance and it has a profound affect on the pancreas. My physician and my diabetes educator said anyone with a pre-diabetic condition, diabetes, family history of diabetes or pregnant (gestational diabetes) should AVOID maltodextrin. Also, because of how the label regulations read, food manufacturers don't have to account for it on the nutrition info, only in the ingredient lists so if you are diabetic or trying to do low carb, AVOID. Maltodextrin adds NO nutrients and is just a bulking agent and is worse than high fructose corn syrup when it comes to your health in my humble opinion.

    * I am working a weight loss plan that I developed myself. Finding replacements for what I love to eat makes it easier to stay on the plan. I LOVE CHEESECAKE and Sans Sucre Cheesecake does the trick. I use Almond milk that makes it even more healthier. Using this product works great for cravings.

    * Perfect texture, really bubbly and good taste. Doesn't taste overly sweet or artificial. I reckon it would be nice frozen too.

    * A little more expensive that the sugar-free puddings in the store--but I really like this product. So easy to make and tastes so rich.

    * Sans Sucre's sugar-free low fat low carb reduced calorie desserts are wonderful options for those on a restricted diet. Even people who can eat sugar have commented on how delicious this stuff is and how it doesn't taste sugar-free. Keep in mind that this mix is sweetened with Splenda. Also keep in mind that the graham cracker pie crust will invariably have some sugar in it.

I have only had the chocolate mousse and the cheesecake mix. My favorite way to prepare them is to whip up both envelopes and fill the mix into a pie crust for some of the most delectable sugar-free deliciousness you can imagine. Basically, you use an electric mixer and blend both packets with cold skim milk. Refrigerate for about 2-3 hours and get ready for some major munching! Seriously, it tastes like I've cheated. Of course, you can eat it as you might eat a Jello cup, but the pie is just decadent. The taste of the crust and the mousse really compliment each other. The mix makes a wonderful Parfait as well.

Sans Sucre (which translates to "without sugar" in French) also makes other flavors including strawberry, lemon, French vanilla, mocha cappuccino, cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake and key lime. So the sugar-free dessert possibilities are almost endless.

    Go get some and enjoy!

    * This product has way too many chemicals to be anything but junk food. However, when I am desperate for a dessert, it does make an enjoyable treat without eating gluten, eggs, or high carb foods. So, I count it as a cheat food that is allowable once in a while. It does satisfy sweet cravings.
