    I tried these alone and as part of a dessert. My immediate impression is of bitter and burnt flavors, followed by a too sweet artificial sweetener taste. I can't see using them in the slabs/chunks form in any recipes but might try chopping them down or melting them and adding butter to offset some of the bitterness/sweetener. I do like high percentage dark chocolate but this just isn't to my taste.

    There seems to be a trend with Carb Counters products as coming off two sweet and leaving a bitter aftertaste. If you mix this in to just get a hint of chocolate they are fine, but not a true replacement for chocolate chips.
