I swear by C4. The taste is great! I've tried fruit punch, pink lemonade, icy blue raz, strawberry marg, and pineapple and I loved all of them. Weirdly enough, if you mix the fruit punch flavor with chocolate flavored protein powder, it tastes EXACTLY like a tootsie roll! In a fabulous way-- its not weird like you might imagine. C4 essentially allows me to work out harder for longer, too. It's had a really positive impact on my muscle gains and the caffeine in it helps give me the energy I need to make it to the gym when I'm not feeling up for it.
I don't write reviews. I generally don't feel like taking the time, but with this stuff I have to. I'm 6'3" 255 and I have been wanting more pump and energy than I was getting from my other pre workout. I move heavy poundage and lose track of time in the gym generally. This stuff, I was getting a pump in my forearms on the way to the gym. I blew thru set after set of heavy rows and deadlifts with 10-40lbs over my normal plate stacks. After noticing that I'd gone thru my workout in half the normal time I just kept hitting the weights. I didn't get any jitters, I could feel the beta alanine which I enjoy and I just kept moving weight set after set after set. I time all my nutrients I take working out seriously and this stuff works very very well. Taste and mixability honestly, best I've had. I'm very excited to run thru this jar and buy more. The watermelon is delicious. I'm a big guy and one scoop had me straight animal thru set after set after set. All I want to do is get to my next workout to move more weight for more reps and more sets.
Best stuff out there. It's so potent you'll feel tingly all over. Just be careful with the amount you take, this stuff ain't no joke. It will pump you up like crazy. It will make you lift more and give you energy to do anything. Drink a lot of water with this stuff, take a supplement, vitamins and a protein shake and you'll get pumped.
I picked up C4 as per my trainers recommendation. He usually took 2 scoops, which is what they recommend, but I'm a 110 pound girl so 1/2-1 scoop was plenty for me. What I guess it essentially does is somehow make it so more oxygen can flow through your veins, giving you more energy and endurance during your workout and better gains after. It certainly gives you a lot of energy, but be careful not to take too much because it almost makes your skin itch
If you're looking for a solid energy boost/pump, I recommend C4. However, it's pretty expensive for how little you get.
