These bars are a perfect treat for severe hypoglycemics who need to eat six to eight meals a day. They are low in calories. If eaten by themselves the bars have the perfect protein to carbohydrate ratio which will give you sustained energy for hours thus preventing life threatening blood sugar crashes and reducing the amount of times that you need to eat during the day.
