I have used this product to add gluten to breads made with low wheat such as bread made with oat, rye, spelt or barley. I am now using it to make 5 minute healthy breads. I have used this in some other baking areas but mainly with breads.
This has been a lifesaver--after 5 years of low carb eating, this is fairly new to me. Great for breading, as long as what you're breading is dry, otherwise it's gets gluey. I've also used in the one bowl brownie mix recipe on baker's unsweetened chocolate box. You do have to add a bit more liquid or poke holes in them when they're done and sprinkle with the SF syrup flavor of your choice (I've used raspberry and chocolate). More of a cakey brownie, but easy and tasty.
Good Product. I make a special low carb bread. I was using Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten. That is also a good product. This does the same thing and it is a lot less money.
Great product to use for breading. I'm from the South and we like to fry every now and then and I've struggled to find a suitable breading mix. I've found that equal parts WGF and sifted almond meal plus seasonings makes a great pork chop. I just wish it would be offered in a larger package.
