I use this any time I am exposed to cold, flu- or any contagious illness. I work in EMS am and quite frequently exposed. I use this instead of OTC products said to prevent or shorten colds, etc. I have been using this for well over a year and have not had any major cold/flu. I also trust the NOW brand having been around for many years. I have most of my friends using this also with positive results.
