The
Natural Fish Oil Concentrate used in this softgel is manufactured under strict
quality control standards. It is tested to be free of potentially harmful
levels of contaminants (i.e. mercury, heavy metals, PCB's, dioxins, and other
contaminants).
Those who experience nausea or reflux from other fish oils should find this
enteric coated, odor controlled softgel easier to digest.
Consumption of Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart
disease. FDA evaluated the data and determined that although there is
scientific evidence supporting the claim, the evidence is not conclusive.
Good amount of EPA and DHA and a really great price. A very clean tasting oil. I used to use the PBL brand which was also a very good oil, but is no longer for sale.
The NOW Ultra tastes clean (if I bite open the capsule) and is a much better price than the PBL brand I had used in the past.

Great product, I've ordered it about 5 times so far. No need to spend $50 to 'feel' like you have a quality fish oil. This gets the job done well. No fishy burp breath.
I am pleased with this product, mainly because it is pretty easy to swallow (despite being decent in size) and also because I have experienced zero "burp-back" with this product, which is sometimes an issue with Fatty Acids and Fish Oil. It doesn't matter whether I take it with food or not, it just goes down well and stays there.
I take 4 grams each day of Ultra Omega -3 to fight depression. Happily, I have not suffered from depression for the last six months since I stopped taking anti depressant medication and started taking Ultra Omega 3 (under a doctor's supervision). It has no aftertaste or untoward reactions for me at all. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
