Casein proteins are pH sensitive and gel in the acidic environment of the
stomach. As a result, it can take more than twice as long for caseins to be
broken-down into their amino acid subcomponents than whey and other proteins.
Because of these unique "time-released" qualities, caseins are aptly described
as being anti-catabolic, or muscle-protecting, proteins.

Vanilla flavor is good...Banana Cream flavor is excellent...shake gets thick...a little less water and you have pudding! Excellent bedtime slow-release protein....
This stuff is fabulous!! Very filling, so much more than whey protein. I stay full for hours and I'm never full for hours! Very thick and rich, I'm buying all the flavors!

I had a smaller tub of the cookies & cream and it was delicious, even with water. I ordered a big tub of the banana cream, and yeah.. not so much. I wish I went with the C&C. Still have to try the others. Great casein protein though. Top notch!
Recommended Use: SHAKER:Just add one heaping scoop of Gold Standard 100% Casein to your shaker cup and then pour 10-12 oz of your preferred beverage. Cover and shake for 25-30 seconds.
