I've been using Teeccino Herbal Coffee for several years and was thrilled to find it on Netrition. I mix it with my regular coffee in the morning and evening, using more Teeccino in the evening to cut down on caffeine. The Teeccino has soluble fiber in it (inulin) so that is a real plus, and it contains potassium as a bonus energy lift naturally. I really enjoy the taste of Maya Herbal Caffe flavor because I like a rich coffee flavor. I am a picky coffee drinker, so it is quite an achievement for an herbal coffee to taste good to me!
Loved this herbal "coffee". I purchased the Vanilla Nut because I like flavored coffee. Brewed it just like regular coffee and added some half and half to it. Tasted a little like Bailey's Irish Cream. It was sweet tasting (but not too sweet) so no need to add sugar. I couldn't tell the difference between this herbal coffee and regular coffee. I still love my regular caffeinated coffee in the morning but this is a great alternative when I want a hot (or iced) beverage in the afternoon / evening.

Teeccino Herbal Coffee is made from a number of
different ingredients each of which is individually ground, roasted and then
blended. Unlike coffee beans which are ground to a specific size for each type
of brewing method, herbal coffee is a composite grind that works in all types of
coffee brewing equipment including drip coffee makers, French press pots, and
espresso machines. The following tips will help you brew a delicious cup of
herbal coffee:
Always adjust quantities of Teeccino to your own preference. Just like
coffee, some people like it strong while others prefer it weaker. Experiment by
making several cups of Teeccino at different strengths to find the quantity that
is perfect for you.
Drip coffee makers brew Teeccino best with a "gold" or permanent filter.
Paper filters tend to brew slowly because the composite grind in herbal coffee
may have some fine particles that can clog the paper. Permanent gold filters
save trees and produce a better flavored brew because paper filters absorbs some
flavor.
Drink Teeccino anyway you enjoy coffee. You may like it black or with milk,
non-dairy milk or half & half if that is how you normally enjoy coffee.
Taste Teeccino first before adding sweetener. Teeccino is naturally sweet from
dates and figs so you may not need additional sweetener.
Drip Coffee Makers:
Strong: Add 1 rounded tablespoon for every 2 cups of water to a permanent
gold or paper filter.
Medium: Add 1 level tablespoon for every 2 cups of water.
Light: Add 1 teaspoon for every 2 cups water.
Iced Teeccino
1. Refrigerate brewed Teeccino. (Teeccino will last up to five days in the
refrigerator)
2. Pour over ice and add cold milk or non-dairy milk. Sweeten to taste. If
using honey, sweeten when hot.
OR
1. Fill a large glass 2/3rd full with ice
2. Add 1/4 cup cold milk, or more, depending on taste
3. Pour brewed Teeccino over the ice and milk. We recommend brewing Teeccino
stronger than normal so the melting ice won't dilute Teeccino too much.
4. Sweeten if needed
